Perched on the 2nd floor of a beautiful Victorian home, The Richard’s House is perfect for travelers who appreciate history and character. This 1BR+1BA apartment was built in 1895 and has a cozy living room that features beautiful large windows, allowing natural lighting to fill the space. Although nestled in a quiet neighborhood, our art-filled downtown with shops and restaurants is just a short walk away making it a convenient spot for enjoying all that Gainesville has to offer. On Gator Football days guests are invited to park a car at Anna Marie’s long-standing tailgate at Grandma’s Gator House ½ a block from The Swamp (Ben Hill Griffin Stadium)

Guest Access Section:
Guests will be given a key and have the entire apartment to themselves. The entrance is through the back of the building. Please note that the unit is on the second floor so luggage will have to be taken up a set of stairs.
Getting Around Section:
You’ll have an easy time seeing all the sights in Gainesville since our neighborhood is in a central spot and all the downtown attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away. Biking is also a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the area. There are many gorgeous Victorian homes to admire around the block.
